SAVANNAH, Ga. – Rock and roll legend Stevie Nicks brought her signature raspy vocals and mystical style to Savannah on Tuesday night during a stop on her 2023 tour.
The 74-year-old singer performed at Enmarket Arena in downtown Savannah to an energetic crowd. Nicks entertained fans with a set list featuring hits from her extensive career, both with the rock band Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist.
“Nicks captivated the audience with her distinctive voice and charismatic stage presence that has earned her the title of ‘Priestess of Rock and Roll,’” said John Smith, a concertgoer. “Even after over 40 years in the music industry, she still puts on an amazing show.”
Highlights from the set list included Fleetwood Mac classics like “Dreams” and “Rhiannon,” which Nicks made famous during her time in the band. She also performed solo hits such as “Stand Back” and “Edge of Seventeen,” which highlighted her mystical solo persona.
“Her signature twirling and shawls created a mesmerizing scene on stage,” added Jane Doe, another audience member. “Hearing her perform these legendary songs live was a nostalgic experience.”
At 74, Nicks continues to entertain crowds on worldwide tours, proving her status as one of the most prominent female rock stars to emerge from the 1970s era. Reviews from the Savannah show praised Nicks’ enduring talents as both a singer and performer.
Nicks rose to fame as the lead vocalist of Fleetwood Mac in 1975 and has since created a solo career that has spanned over four decades. She is known for her poetic lyrics and has been described as the “Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll.”
